The Government of Tatari Ali appointed his cousin to be the 10th Emir of Bauchi. Three months later, The late Emir Dr. Suleman Adamu turbaned him as Yariman Bauchi.

After the resignation of the former Grand Khadi, the seat of District Head of Pali became vacant, and he was appointed to fill it.

Yariman Bauchi’s contributions to the traditional institution were obvious to everyone in Bauchi during Sallah Festivals. He will always be remembered because the people of Bauchi will miss his Hawan Sallah . For over 40 years, Yariman Bauchi never missed Hawan Sallah even once. When Yariman Bauchi came with his entourage, men and women bowed to greet him. Young Boys and Girls used to sing a song

(Ga yarima, Munbi Yarima Munsha kida, Baba Yarima Babanmune)

Yariman Bauchi’s contribution to his Family and other people was superb. He was recognized as the pillar of the Family who shouldered their affairs as his own. Service to humanity is service to Allah. Baba Yarima embraced and involved himself in every activity of the Family (Baya Goya Marayu). As a great farmer, He used to distribute more than half of his grains to friends and family during Ramadan.

May Allah (S.W.A) forgive his transgressions and grant him Al-Jannatul firdausi.

Allah Yajikan Baba Yarima.
