Since the third republic era, when the then-military junta annulled the presidential election, Atiku Abubakar has been running for president. Atiku was a staunch supporter of Shehu Musa Yar’adua throughout his presidential campaign. After Yar’adua’s presidential campaign was declared invalid, Atiku played a crucial role in ensuring that Abiola received the SDP nomination. The election for president, which was held in the most free and transparent manner ever in Nigerian history, was won by Abiola. Wazirin Adamawa did, in fact, contribute significantly to Abiola/victory Kingibe’s in the June 12 presidential election.

Atiku was a very strong candidate for the governorship of Adamawa in Northern Nigeria during the fourth democratic republic, and he won with a significant majority of the vote. Atiku is a politician with friends and powerful political allies in every region of the nation. Obasanjo chose him as his running mate for vice president in 1999, and he served in that capacity for eight years.

Everyone in the nation can see that Atiku is a great hero of democracy who fights for democracy to run the show in the nation. For the actualization and realization of democracy in Nigeria, Atiku did well. In 2005, when tenure elongation was suggested for constitutional amendment, Nigeria was experiencing a democratic crisis.

It is well known that Obasanjo sought to amend the Constitution in order to run for president a third time in 2007. Atiku vehemently opposed this and fought Obasanjo’s third-time agenda with all of his might. If not for Atiku, Nigerian democracy would be a thing of the past. The current administration, like the former vice president who battled the third-time agenda, is now taking advantage of the fight of the Wazirin Adamawa.

When Goodluck Jonathan attempted to rape the democracy by forcing David Jang to serve as the Chairman of the Governors Forum and Rotimi Amechi emerged victorious as the Chairman of the Governors Forum, Atiku Abubakar led the five Governors to defect in order to rescue the democracy. However, the APC Government failed to uphold its campaign pledges, thus he made the decision to run in 2019 to stop the country’s declining because Atiku is a true politician and a truth one that always fulfil his promises and want to see the development of the country in terms of Infrastructure, Agriculture, Education and Health. Atiku is the best to run this country smoothly and perfectly.
