Nigerians Urged To Autheticate Purchased Products Using NIPOST Stamp

Nigerians have been Tasked on the need to atheticate receipts of their purchased products using Nigeria postal services (NIPOST) stamp duties.

The state postal manager (SPM) Nigerian postal services Bauchi territory Mrs. Mustafa Fatsuma Sabo gave this admonishment while speaking exclusively to our Reporter.

The Bauchi State SPM maintained that one’s property is legalized if all the relevant receipts and documents have stamp affixed on it.

She added that stamps produced by the Nigerian postal services (NIPOST) for denoting receipts, vouchers, contract agreements and other are instruments in compliance with financial regulations.

“The stamp duties services offered to assist members of the public in fulfilling the requirement of STAMP DUTIES ACT CAP S8 LFN 2004, as amended by finance ACT 2019 and 2020”, she said.

Fatima explained further that Stamp Duties has to do with the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it is a legal requirement that affects all transactions involving receipts, bill payments, agreements and other financial documents from N 1000. 00 and above.

She said the stamp are available at the Post Office and every individual, group or organization that need the stamp can come to the post office nearest to them in the state or any parts of the country.
