Nigerian Journalists has a vital role to play on every aspects particularly on agronomists research Profession to ensure foods security and boost huge quantity of farm produces for sustainable economic development across the country.

The Executive Director Institute of Agricultural Research, Ahmadu Bello university Zaria, Professor Muhammad Isyaku Faguji, stated this when he received the Newly Executive Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists Zaria unit, in his office.

He explained that its necessary for the institute’s management to be committed in cordial relationship with Journalists, in joining hands together on various projects.

The Executive Director added that the institute is always giving more priority on scientific works in an effort to bring out innovations geared towards sufficient food Production.

Professor Faguji, Urged Nigeria Union of Journalists Zaria unit, under the leadership of Sagir Auwal Muhammad, to tighten their belts in order to support Agronomist experts.

Also to maintain standard legacy of the institute performances effectively in providing essential farm production.

In their sepreates remark Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists Zaria unit. Sagir Auwal Muhammad, and Assistant secretary Ibrahim Garba Makarfi, expressed their delight to the Institute for the gesture, and promised to maintain good collaboration with the university.
