Bauchi Governor approved 100 million for this year’s National Qur’anic recitation competition

Bauchi state Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad has approved the sum of 100 million naira for the conduct of 36th national Qur’anic recitation competition in the state.

The events organized by the Bauchi state Government in Collaboration with Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto is expected to received participant from 36 states of the Federation.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Local organising committee for the competition, the Governor describe the Mubaqa as a way of training younger once on the correct reading, recitation and memorization of the holy Quran.

Bala Muhammad said the Committee is saddle with the responsibility to make fair, realistic and detailed budget of the financial implication of the events and forward to the government.

He added that the committe was to ensure the successful hosting of the 36 national Qur’anic recitation competition by liaising with individuals, corporate organization, as well as stakeholders within and outside the state.

The Governor therefore assured that the state government would provide all the necessary support to the committe in other to discharge their assignment, while calling on the committe to submit a comprehensive report of within two weeks after the completion of the programme.

Responding, the Chairman Local organizing committee Khadi Abdullahi Yakubu Marafa express gratitude to the governor for finding them worthy with the assignment, promise to provide quality work and ensure success of the programme.

Khadi Abdullahi Marafa therefore urged the members of the committe to sustain the spirit of brotherhood and support the team to discharge their duties.

The local organizing committee has 57 members and the events is scheduled to hold on 18th to 26st of March 2022.
