Inferno: Bagudu visits Argungu, sympathizes with victims

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu this Saturday morning was on sympathy visit to Argungu over separate fire incidents that claimed lives and properties.

The Governor’s first point of call was Argungu, in Gwazange area where he condoled with Alhaji Saidu Muhammad Argungu a businessman who lost his wife, two children and a house maid to the inferno.

The governor prayed Allah to forgive the deceased and Grant them Aljannah Firdausi. He also beseeched God the Almighty to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

the bereaved husband thanked the Governor for the condolence visit and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.

In a related development, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu also made a similar sympathy visit to Argungu Emirate Primary and Secondary School affected by fire.

The Governor went round to see the extent of damage caused by the midnight inferno where a block of building was completely razed by the fire.

He expressed shock with level of destruction in the school and promised to assist in reconstruction of the damaged block. No live is lost in the incident.

The Governor while in Birnin Kebbi branched to see the level of destruction caused by fire at Brilux Printing Press located opposite Rima Roundabout.

He prayed Allah to avoid future recurrence of the disaster.

The Printing Press which is a storey building is owned by Dr. Umar Jibril Gwandu, the media aide to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami ( SAN) was gutted by fire on Friday in the afternoon.

Earlier, the Governor made a stop over at Hajiya Turai YarAdua General Hospital, Zauro/Ambursa where he went round the hospital and interacted with the patients.

The governor was impressed the way and manner the hospital staff and patients observed Covid 19 protocol of hand washing and use of face marks

He donated undisclosed amount of money to the parents.
