Bauchi Gov lauds President Buhari for effort to tackle housing deficit

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting family homes limited to initiate projects geared towards addressing housing deficit across the country.

The governor made the commendation when Board members of the family homes limited paid him a condolence visit over the death of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Fatima Aliyu Usman held at Ramat House, Bauchi.

Governor Bala Mohammed said reactivation of the operations of family homes by the federal has assisted state governments to tackle their challenges in housing sector.

“We really appreciate this condolence visit from family homes, Family Homes has become a household name in Bauchi, we are very happy with you and by extension very happy with Mr President for bringing this initiative that is reducing housing deficit in Nigeria especially in Bauchi.”

“The project of family homes is assisting states to connect with the Federal Government in reducing challenges in housing sector.”

The governor declared total interest and desire of his administration towards establishing more partnership and mutual relationship with development partners for the overall development of the state.

The leader of the delegation, Ambassador Muhammad Jimba commiserated with Governor Bala Mohammed over the death of his mother-in-law and described it as a great lost to the family.

On his part, the State Commissioner for Housing and Environment, Hamisu Mu’azu Shira expressed gratitude to the Board members of the family homes for the condolence visit.

Honorable Hamisu Shira said the visit is an indication of their good and mutual partnership existing between the state government and the family homes.
