Governor Bala chairs Security meeting

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed chaired and presided over a meeting with heads of security agencies and Local Government chairmen at Government House, Bauchi.

Speaking, the governor said the meeting was to discuss issues related to security situation in state particularly rural areas.

He called on the Local Government chairmen to ensure regular security meeting to ensure effective security management in their respective areas.

Governor expressed with dismay increased of illegal activities in the state’s forest reserve, adding that, any one found guilty including government officials and traditional rulers will be dealt with decisively.

Governor Bala Mohammed directed the LG chairmen to commence payment of salaries of their workers so as to assist the state government in tackling challenges in the system.
