MAULUD: Use the period to help one another, Bauchi gov advises Muslims

Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed attended the Prophet Muhammad PBUH’s 1443 Maulud celebration organized by a reknown Islamic scholar and leader of Tijjaniya, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi, yesterday.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Bala thanked Sheik Bauchi for his commitment to the propagation of Islam.

He appreciated the Sheik’s support to him and called for more prayers for the sustenance of peace, progress of the state.

In his Maulud message to Muslims Umma, Governor Bala congratulated them for the occasion and called on them to use the period to share love with all and strengthen belief by helping one another.

He called on Muslims to imbibe and put into practice honesty, patience, generosity, and humility of Prophet Muhammad( PBUH).

Governor Bala Mohammed solicited for continued support to his administration in order to sustain and improve the existing peace in the state calling on Muslims to use the period to offer special prayers to Bauchi State and Nigeria as whole.

Also speaking, the State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed congratulated Muslims on the occasion and urged participants to put in practice the lessons learnt.

On his part, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi thanked Governor Bala for supporting the conduct of the Maulud and assured him of his support through prayers for the success of his administration.

The occasion had in attendance, the Speaker of the state house of assembly, Abubakar Y Sulaiman, his Deputy, Dallami Ahmed Kawule, the SSG, Barrister Kashim Ibrahim, Commissioners among others.
