Wikki Tourists FC signs in new Technical Adviser

Wikki Tourists Football Club (FC) Bauchi state has unveiled new Technical Adviser, Mr. Kabiru Dogo to lead the team for two seasons.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the former technical adviser of the Tourists FC Mr. Usman Abdallah has voluntarily resigned his position May 2021.

Mr Abdullahi Ibrahim, Secretary Wikki Tourists FC, said at the signing of the new technical adviser on Wednesday in Bauchi, that Mr Dogo is a popular coach in Nigerian football circles.

He said after the resignation of the former coach Usman Governor Bala Mohammmed has accepted his resignation and approved the shopping of a new Technical Adviser.

“We succeeded in getting a prominent and popular technical Adviser in the country who is known by all football fans in the country.

“Kabiru Dogo served in many Football Clubs as a coach, he was at various times in charge of ABS and Sunshine football clubs before joining Lobi last Season and has interest in Wikki Tourists FC.

“He was able to accept all the conditions given by the management and the state government, we have confidence in him and his service to take the Club to successful league,” he said

The Secretary explained that last season Wikki Tourists FC battled to secure 15 positions at the matches in the concluded 2021 National Professional Football League (NPFL).

He urged supporters of Wikki Tourists FC to continue praying and to also give maximum support to the Management and the new Technical Adviser to succeed next season.

Ibrahim stressed that next season is going to be serious business in the football structures of Wikki Tourists, adding that “we would not relent,” he said.

He however commended governor Mohammmed and the people of Bauchi state for giving the Wikki management all the necessary support.

In a remark, the New Technical Adviser, Dogo expressed gratitude to the management for having interest in him, with a promise to uplift the club to greater heights.

He solicit for the support of the management and football supporters to provide an enabling environment for him to operate.
