Governor Fintiri Urges Youths To Promote Peace

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Friday was in Lamurde local government area where he commiserated with the people over conflict between casual staff and management of Dangote Sugar Company.

The industrial disputes has drawn military Intervention where six persons sustain injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Lamurde clinic.

Governor Umaru Fintiri first visited the village head of Gyawana and thereafter proceeded to Lamurde clinic where he commiserated with the victims of the incident.

The Governor urged the youths to exercise restraint and promote peaceful coexistence in the area for the development of the society.

Governor Umaru Fintiri was accompanied by Secretary to the State SSG Malam Bashir Ahmad, and Chief of Staff Professor Maxwell Gidado among others.
