Yes, the topic of my today’s discourse may sound sour to probably many readers and at the same time be of great interest to others whom i believe would take the larger percentage of the population, just as Nigeria is preparing to conduct it next “NATIONAL POPULATION CENSUS” after more than two decades since 2006, if the present security challenges bedeviling the country warrant that.

It is not out of the way for anybody as a “ BONAFIDE NIGERIAN” to express his opinion on a way forward with a view to persuading others to understand the quality attached to his subject of discussion or even a new commodity that has just been introduced for sale “IN TO THE MARKET” as well as the “ OLD STOCK” which customers deemed has no market value “ANY LONGER.

Alh. Atiku Abubakar, a former custom officer, business tycoon, vice president and up to date “POLITICIAN” who still “ KEEP THE BALL ROLLING” from his political coach “LATE GENERAL SHEHU MUSA ‘YAR ADUA” of blessed memory had occupied a position in the Nigeria’s “BOOK OF RECORD” for been the first Governor elect in his state that was single handedly handpicked to serve as vice President of Federal republic of Nigeria before swearing in as the Governor of Adamawa State created from the defunct “GONGOLA STATE” comprising of the present TARABA and ADAMAWA STATES.

Although, his sudden political promotion which was as a result of his “SOCIO ECONOMIC” contributions, support and sincerity not only to his political party PDP as one of it founding members since inception but the country in general was not a thing to be “AMAZED” of gave room for his then deputy elect Mr. Boni Haruna to be sworn as the substantive or duely elected Governor of the state, thereby bringing additional unity and political cohesion in both the state and the country as a whole for not breaching the constitution as Adamawa State where i once lived with my late Father for more than thirteen years was largely populated with both Muslims and Christians Faithful like the Fulani’s, Michika’s, Mumuye’s and hundreds of tribes.

Indeed, the decision to handpicked the then Turakin Adamawa before his elevation to “WAZIRIN ADAMAWA” as a king maker may not be unconnected with his loyalty and followership to his “POLITICAL MENTOR” Gen. Shehu Musa ‘Yar Adua who equally served as the vice president to Gen. Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo during the military era from 1976 to 1979 for the purpose of compensating the northerners after the demise of Late Shehu ‘Yar Adua while in prison during the Abacha regime.

However, Alh. Atiku Abubakar initiated so many economic sustainability policies that gave birth to agencies like “BUREAU OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES” headed by Nasir El-rufai present Kaduna state Governor and “BUREU OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT” among others. In short he was the best “ECONOMIC MANAGER OR DRIVER” during their eight years stewardship who always access the country’s gross domestic Product (GDP) based on it “ECONOMIC INDEX” not viability alone and was never at a time found guilty of siphoning public funds not to talk of Government property because he has all what it takes to take his eyes off from what is not his personal belonging as he was among the richest person in the country for more than five decades that is fifty years.

As the then, second in command in the country which is usually regarded as the “SPARE TYRE” that cannot “DO AND UNDO” Atiku foiled the attempt of his Boss Obasanjo for tenure elongation which received the backup of both the Federal Executive Council members and the National Assembly with the support of his political Associate Sen. Abdul Ahmed Ningi who ensured the request did not scale through in the legislative arm. So, without him at the moment the present Nigeria’s constitution 1999 as amended would have been a different thing, but he sticked to his “IDEOLOGIES”.

Meanwhile if not because of the Wazirin Adamawa who had spent a lot, many Governors, members of both the state and National Assembly couldn’t have make it in the 2015 general election even with the love and sympathy electorates had for their party APC, because he was the “BRAIN BOX” behind all financial commitment before the rulling APC came to power at all levels.

Apart from his political will and capacity, Atiku has the potential of carrying people alone especially his “BOY’S” if for example they came with a request of five Million naira only to win a particular polling until or ward, after approving the said figure fifty percent of the amount will be added to avoid total failure, a “TACTICS HE COPIED FROM SHEHU YARADUA” while in the Social Democratic Party, SDP.

The man “ATIKU” had in one way or the other bring out MASSES from the shackles of “UNEMPLOYMENT” and “RESTIVENESS” through his “CHARITY FOUNDATION” which was even not well known by the public except in his “MEDIA PALEY” with “QUADRIA AHMED” that people started to find out if the said foundation was really in existence. Infact I was opportune to know of a person who deeply sought to know that through his friend living in Yola who confirmed to him of the existence of the “CHARITY FOUNDATION” established solely to settle medical bills of the less privileged and payment of school fees to the deserving one.

Other facilities constructed and established by the “NIGERIA’S POLITICAL ICON” was the “ABTI AMERICAN UNIVERSITY” which provide skilled and unskilled labour to thousands of Nigerians and beyond since it was managed by the white men in addition to the Faro table water not to talk of Radio Gotel.

Your Excellency sir, analysts have proved that you have no “CAUSE FOR ALARM” in your next “POLITICAL AGENDA” from my state, Bauchi where you have the likes of Sen. Abdul Ahmed Ningi from my senatorial zone which had all the “STRUCTURES” and “SUPPORTERS” across the state and beyond and even all the remaining thirty five states of the country and FCT Abuja.
