PDP holds Chairmanship primary elections for Zaria LGA in Kaduna State

People Democratic party PDP has Conducted it’s primary elections for the chairmanship Aspirants in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The elections which was conducted through open ballot system was successfully carried out at the Faisalco hall Kauran Juli zaria.

Declaring the results, the chairman election Committee, Hon. Nuhu Dogo Makama announced that Barrister Yusuf Sambo was returned elected after defeating his opponent Abubakar Sani Turaki and Yusuf Yahaya by scoring two hundred and fourty one votes against thirteen votes for Yusuf Yahaya and ten votes for Abubakar Sani Turaki to emerged as the PDP Chairmanship candidate of Zaria Local Government area.

Speaking shortly after the declaration, the Chairmanship candidate elect, Barrister Yusuf Sambo thanked the entire party members for their confidence on him and pledged to reciprocate the gesture bestowed on him by carrying everybody alone.

Also commenting, the PDP party chairman of Zaria Local Government, Alh. Jafaru Suleiman mai chitta expressed delight on the peaceful conduct of the election.

He urged those that lost in the contest to join hands together for the overall success of the party in the fourth coming Local Government elections.
