INSECURITY: Governor Bagudu appeals to citizens to strengthen faith in God

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu is appealing to the citizenry to strengthen their faith in God through prayers and righteousness as panacea to surmounting the challenges of insecurity and attainment of economic prosperity.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu gave this sermon when he hosted sections of the society to Ramadan breakfast this Sunday comprising top government functionaries, members of the judiciary, legislature and executives.

The governor expressed belief in the collective and individual efficiency supplication from religious leaders, traditional rulers and other Nigerians towards eliminating problems bedeviling the country of insecurity kidnapping and insurgency permanently.

The governor affirmed commitment to the upliftment of the condition of living both rural and urban dwellers, praying Allah to shower his blessings on us all.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was emphatic about the capability and commitment of President Muhammadu Buhari to salvage the country from its predicament affecting social and economic sectors.

The Chief Whip of Kebbi State House of Assembly Mahmud Tukur Shanga on behalf of other members of the assembly, reaffirmed the resolve of the house to work jointly with the executive arm in the task of developing the state.

Honourable Muhammad Tukur Shanga acknowledged the effort of the governor in implementing development schemes designed to enhancing the wellbeing of the people.

Speaking to newsmen the Commissioner for Animal Health, Hon. Aminu Garba Dandiga thanked the governor for his benevolence in hosting them to the Ramadan Iftar, an important component of the past.

Elsewhere Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu condoled with the family of Alhaji Ibrahim Jodi Jega State Secretary of Miyetti Allah on the death of his wife Hajia Khadijatul Kubra who passed away last Tuesday of an illness at the age of 48 leaving behind five children and aged mother.

During a condolence visit to Jega this Sunday Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu prayed Allah to grant her mercy and the family fortitude to bear the loss.
