HAJJ 2021: Bauchi Pilgrims Board to strengthen partnership with the Nigerian immigration service.

The Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board on 19th April 2021 paid a courtesy visit to the newly posted state comptroller of the Immigration Service Bauchi state command.

In his speech the Executive Secretary Alh Abubakar Babangida Tafida Tafidan Giade noted that the familiarasation visit aimed at to cement the existing partnership between the two sister agencies.

The Executive Secretary stressed the importance of co-operation between his Board and the Nigerian immigration service (NIS) in the interest of innocent Pilgrims particularly first time international travellers.

describing NIS as an important stakeholders in the implementation of hajj related policies, Babangida Tafida solicited for more support from the command to ensure a hitch free 2021 hajj excercise.

Reacting, the newly posted state comptroller of the Immigration Service Bauchi command Alh. Idris Bappa acknowledged the long-standing partnership between the Immigration Service and the pilgrims Board.

Idris Bappa reiterated the commitment of his command to continue to support the Board to achieve it desired goal.

He used the visit to call on all intending Pilgrims to follow a due process in obtaining their E-passport and other related traveling documents.

Adding that this will prevent them for been defraud and in case of any thing of such happen, they should contact an appropriate channels.
