Governor Bagudu hails the Executive, Legislative arm and Judiciary for harmonious working relations

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state is happy about the harmonious working relationship among the executive, legislative and the judiciary, which facilitated peace, security and development of the state.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu made this known when he hosted various top government functionaries, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, the Chief Judge, leaders of security agencies and APC stalwarts to Ramadan Breakfast (Iftar) at the Government House, this Sunday.

He commended the State Assembly for speedy passage of bills for the development of the state especially those on provision of socio-basic amenities to the people.

The governor was highly appreciative about efforts of various security agencies in the state for performing optimally in the maintenance of peace, security and tranquility in the society.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu commiserate with police authorities and the army on the loss of lives of soldiers and police recently in Zuru Emirate, whom he described as very gallant and officers who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation.

He acknowledged that the preceding year was full of challenging brought about by Covid-19 pandemic which by GOD’s grace has been brought under control through observance of covid protocols and vaccination.

Ramadan Iftar was attended by the state Deputy-Governor Rtd. Colonel Sama’ila Yombe Dabai, former Deputy Governor of the State and Chief of Staff Government House, Alhaji Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, Speaker House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Sama’ila AbdulMumini Kamba, the Chief Judge of Kebbi State Justice Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Babale UmarYauri, acting Head of Service Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, Members of the state APC Caretaker Committee, Deputy Commissioner of Police and the State Director of Security Services.

The rest were commissioners, members of the House of Assembly, Special Advisers, High Court Judges, Kadis, Permanent Secretaries and all Heads of Security Agencies.

In an interview afterwards the Commissioner for Works and Transport Alhaji Abubakar Chika Ladan thanked the Governor for hosting them to the Ramadan breakfast affirming their loyalty to the administration and called on people of Kebbi State to sustain prayer for peace, Allah’s guidance and protection to the nation and her people.
