Governor Bala receives GOC of 3 division, promised strong collaboration with the Army and other security forces

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has today recieved in audience, the newly General Officer Commanding of the 3 Armoured Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Brigadier General Bello Abdullahi Mohammed.

Governor Bala who welcomed the Army Senior Officer said his administration is a friend to the Nigerian Army and other security agencies.

He promised to support the new General Officer to enable him succeed in enhancing the security and peace in State.

The Governor commended the Nigerian Army for its commitment to the maintenance of security in Bauchi State and solicited for continued working relationship.

He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointments of the new Service Chiefs and expressed hope for them to live up to expectations.

The Governor directed the Ministry of Water Resources to connect Bauchi Army Barracks with pipes of water as part of his support and interventions to the Force.

Governor Bala also directed for immediate construction of boreholes to all the Army Units in Azare town to enable them perform optimally.

He told the Senior Officer that his administration has purchased operational vehicles to security agencies including the Nigerian Army.

The newly appointed General Officer Commanding of the 3 Armoured Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Brigadier General Bello Abdullahi Mohammed said the visit was to introduce himself to the Governor with a view to seeking for his support to the Nigerian Army and the Division.

The GOC on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for his support to the security agencies in Bauchi state.

During the visit, Brigadier General Bello Mohammed presented a souvenir to the Governor in appreciation to his support to the force.
