Governor Fintiri bags best Community and Rural Development Award

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has bagged another award. This time as Best Governor in Community and Rural Development 2020 by the Nigerian Pilot Newspaper.

Presenting the nomination letter to the Governor in Abuja on Wednesday, the Director Publications Chuks Ohuegbe pointed out that Governor Fintiri’s consideration is based on his giant strides in infrastructure development inspite of security challenges in the region.

According to Mr Ohuegbe, “Governor Fintiri’s Rural Mobility Access Roads project RAMP 2 is adjudged as the best performing in Nigeria which informed there choice, describing it as a critical factor in the administration’s development agenda for the State.

Accepting the award, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked the Editorial team for finding him worthy, noting that he was elected to work for the People and would not relent in meeting the needs of the ordinary Adamawa People.

The Governor noted that the award will spur him to do more towards fulfilling the administrations 11 Point Agenda.

The Award ceremony is billed for April ending in Abuja.
