Kebbi Governor lifts ban on Sales of Fertilizer

The Governor of Kebbi State Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has directed the immediate continuation of sales of fertilizer to all the 225 wards in the state.

A total of 30 tons of NPK (one truck load) shall be allocated to each of the 225 wards in the state.

Bagudu has also directed KASCOM to liase with the following stakeholders in each Local Government and Wards to achieve a successful and hitch-free sales of the product to those that are genuinely in need of it to foster sustainable Development in the State.

The following should oversee the sales in each ward as follows:
Hon. Member of the State Assembly
Hon. Chairman and Council Members
The Advisers to His Excellency
The Senior Special Assistant to His Excellency
The Special Assistant
Party Chairmen and Exco
Districts Head
Village Heads
The Ulamas
Representatives of famers associations
And representatives of security agencies

The fertilizer is already in stock in all the depots and service centres in across the state.

The new General Manager has undertaken a tour of all depots and service centres and shall coordinate the sales and liase with stakeholders as specified.
