Bauchi Poly to introduce new HND and PGD courses, assures more conducive learning environment for students

Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi is to introduce new diploma, Higher National Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses in the institution to boost the level of academic performances of Bauchi indigenes.

The Rector of the Polytechnic Dr. Adamu Said, dropped the hint in a telephonic interview with ATAP Campus Radio.

Dr. Adamu stated that Education is paramount to every society that’s why its in his agenda to ensure that new courses were introduced especially in the profession of entrepreneurship and procurements.

He added that, on issue of students access to educational facilities, the management will provide internet facilities for the student to have access to wifi network.

He therefore emphasized the need to have more conducive environment and well accommodated class rooms for the students of the institution and to introduce method of standard teaching by using audio-visual system of lecturing and to revitalize the roads network within the school premises to ease mobility exercises.

Dr. Sa’id said the institution has extend its hand to affiliate with other universities to get more Degree programs, so that over 28 Phd lecturers of the institution will have chance to teach in the affiliated courses.

The Rector said the institution will soon start to get its professors in different fields of study without going to other institution because accordingly he has a blueprint for this development.

Dr. Adamu who commended the effort of the previous administration of the polytechnic for their vital roles played to ensure the institution has 80 percent of courses accredited in the school, charged lecturers to work diligently in fear of God and also urged the students to be good ambassadors of the institution.
