The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Chairman of Dambam Local Government Council, Honorable Yakubu Garba Tela, who passed away today after a brief illness.
In a condolence message released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, the Governor, on behalf of his family, the Government, and the people of Bauchi State, extended heartfelt sympathies to the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Dambam, colleagues in the local government system, and the entire state over what he described as a great loss.
Governor Bala Mohammed described the late Honorable Yakubu Garba Tela as a dedicated public servant, grassroots mobilizer, and community leader who devoted his life to the service of his people and the development of Dambam Local Government.
He said the deceased will be remembered for his humility, commitment to duty, and positive contributions to governance at the grassroots level.
The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Chairman, grant him eternal rest, and give his family, associates, and the entire people of Bauchi State the strength to bear the painful loss.
Meanwhile, the funeral prayer for the late Honorable Yakubu Garba Tela will be held today at Misau Central Mosque by 2:00 p.m. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Ameen.
