Residents of Bununu, the headquarters of Tafawa Ɓalewa Local Government Area, have expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for the various developmental projects that have transformed the town.
Speaking to journalists who were on a tour of the present administration’s projects across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State, Malam Ɗanjuma Adamu, a middle-aged farmer, narrated how life in Bununu used to be before the intervention of the governor.
He explained that the town had long suffered neglect in areas of infrastructure, roads, and social amenities, which made daily life difficult for residents.
According to him, the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed has brought about a new lease of life, with visible changes that have boosted commerce, education, and social interaction.
He said the people of Bununu now find it easier to move their farm produce to markets, children can go to school under better conditions, and healthcare delivery has improved significantly.
Malam Adamu emphasized that these developments have rekindled hope in the community, as many residents now believe in the government’s commitment to grassroots development.
He noted that Bununu, once considered a forgotten town, is gradually becoming a hub of activities within Tafawa Ɓalewa Local Government.
The residents concluded by pledging continued support to the governor and called on the administration to sustain the momentum by extending more projects to rural communities. They described Bala Mohammed’s efforts as a true demonstration of people-oriented leadership.
