The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has announced important developments for this year’s intending pilgrims from the state.

He made the announcement today upon resuming office after returning from the Holy Land as part of the ongoing preparations for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

According to Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u, the Board has finalized all necessary arrangements regarding accommodation.

“A two-storey building located in Shahri Mansur, very close to the Haram in Makkah, has been secured. ”

“The facility is expected to accommodate approximately 3,205 pilgrims.”

He further disclosed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with a reputable catering company to ensure the consistent and timely provision of meals to the pilgrims throughout their stay.

Regarding Hajj visas, the Director General confirmed that the Board has fulfilled all financial obligations through the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Currently, two-thirds of the visas are being processed, while the remaining ones are expected to be completed shortly.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa urged all intending pilgrims to actively participate in the Hajj Induction Course (BITA) and to complete the mandatory medical check-up in preparation for their journey.

He reiterated the Kano State Government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and comfort of all pilgrims from the state.
