Bauchi State Governor Urges Resilience Amid Economic Downturn on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary

As Nigeria marked its 64th Independence Anniversary today, Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has asked people of the State to be resilient on current economic downturn .

In his goodwill message, Conveyed by his Media Aide Comrade Muktar Gidado, the Governor expressed gratitude to Allah for the gift of life and the opportunity to witness another milestone in the nation’s History.

He reflected on the struggles and sacrifices of Nigeria’s founding fathers, emphasizing the need to honor their legacy by working towards a united and prosperous nation.

According to him despite setbacks, Nigeria has made significant progress, with democracy taking root and citizens enjoying its dividends.

He opined that In Bauchi State, his administration has prioritized infrastructure development, adopting a multi-faceted approach towards providing more dividends of democracy to the people.

He equally reassured that Security of lives and properties remains a top priority, through collaborative efforts with security agencies.

While Acknowledging the current economic hardship, the Governor commended residents for their perseverance and resilience , assuring them that Government would continue to provide palliative measures, including food and non-food items.

He emphasized patriotism, unity, and prayer, seeking Allah’s mercy and blessings for peace and greatness.
