In a bid to reinvigorate critical sectors of the economy in Bauchi State, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has expressed his administration’s commitment to partnering with relevant stakeholders. Recently, he held a technical session with M-Tech Renewals Limited, a firm led by Engr Mustapha Abubakar Gajibo, to discuss possible areas of collaboration.
During the session, Governor Mohammed emphasized the importance of partnering with stakeholders to revitalize sectors such as agriculture and job creation. Engr Gajibo highlighted the company’s areas of possible intervention, including agriculture, youth and women empowerment programs, rehabilitation and upgrade of the Green House Project at the Bauchi State College of Agriculture, and capacity building for youth and women in the state.
The Governor expressed satisfaction with the presentation and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the full implementation of the ACRESAL project, a World Bank-assisted initiative aimed at addressing developmental challenges facing the state. He assured the firm of his government’s support in creating an enabling environment for the partnership to succeed.
This partnership is a significant step towards revitalizing Bauchi State’s economy, particularly in the agricultural sector. The rehabilitation and upgrade of the Green House Project will provide opportunities for youth and women to engage in agriculture, while the capacity building programs will equip them with the necessary skills to succeed.
