I’ll remain resolute to the development of Kebbi State, Kauran Gwandu says

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, says, he will remain resolute to the development and growth of the state in all sectors.

The Kauran Gwandu spoke on Monday in Birnin Kebbi when the Governing Board of the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, paid him a courtesy visit.

According to the governor, he will do everything humanly possible to sustain the ongoing trajectory of progress and betterment already set in motion by his administration since ascension to power one year ago.

Dr Idris maintained that he would never waiver or stray from the path he has taken to provide the direly needed dividends of democracy to the generality of the people of Kebbi.

He said,”I have started well and I will continue to do so on the right track INSHA ALLAHU, we will continue to do our best to squarely address all the challenges our people are facing.”

Comrade Nasir Idris informed his guests from the Polytechnic community, about other successfully executed projects and policy implementation, including the recent approval for the recruitment of 2000 teachers.

This, he explained, was to provide enough teachers especially to primary and secondary schools as the cradle of education.

Dr Nasir said that all sectors in the state have received requisite attention especially security which has now improved significantly.

The Chairman of the Board, Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Hon. Shehu Muhammad, Wamban Koko, acknowledged the remarkable achievements recorded by the Kauran Gwnadu administration.

He said that the sincere commitment of the governor has remained inspiring and motivating.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Usman Tunga, appreciated the existing cordial relationship between the institution and the state government.

He also extolled the benovalence of the governor to the Polytechnic, citing the patronage it enjoyed for the capacity building of its personnel, among other commendable gestures as well as the support the institution recieved from the Governor during its convocation programme.
