Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed on Saturday attended the funeral prayer of the late Alhaji Ali Kwara in Azare.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the Emir of Katagum at his palace, the governor described the death as a great loss not only to Bauchi but the country as a whole .
Governor Bala said late Ali Kwara was reknown patriot Nigeria because of his commitments in fighting against all forms of criminality in Africa.
He informed the Emir about supports rendered to him by deceased during his tenure as FCT Minister to ensure peace and tranquility in the territory.
Governor Bala therefore conveyed the condolences on behalf of Bauchi State Government and people of the state to the emirate and the deceased family.
The Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Faruk expressed gratitude to the governor for the condolence visit and prayed Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
Governor Bala was accompanied to the condolences by his deputy, Senator Baba Tela, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Honorable Abubakar Y Suleiman among others.
