The newly elected Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Bauchi state branch Reverend Promise Nuhu Yohanna has called on all churches including that of PFN to open its door of welfare to reduce the hunger crisis of church members.

Reverend Promises make the call in Bauchi on Tuesday shortly after emerging as the new chairman of the Fellowship.

The PFN Chairman who emerged unopposed promised to unite members and serve as voice of the voiceless in the midst of the increasing food prices in the society.

He promised to activate the empowerment arm of the fellowship in a bid to address rising hunger in the society and urged every church to cue in.

“We will identify those among us going through challenges, especially the food challenge and see what we can do to assist and I am appealing to every church to help the needy among them”, he said.

Officiating the election, the National Vice President of the PFN Prophet Isah El-Bubah admonished pastors to start teaching their congregation on the need to engage in business in order to cope with the hard times.

Represented by Reverend Sam T. Alaha, advisory Council of PFN in Plateau State, the prophet insisted that learning and teaching business is a must that should not be subjected to any negotiations due to the hard period.

He described the election as most credible one he has conducted and commended the Bauchi wing of PFN for being orderly and cooperative in their approach towards electing their leaders which most of them were unopposed.
