Society of Nigerian Artists Honours Kano State History and Culture Bureau Chief.

The Executive Secretary, Kano State History and Culture Bureau, Arc. Ahmad Abba Yusif has been awarded with the prestigious Honorary Fellow of the Society of Nigerian Artists (HFSNA).

The award presentation took place during the International Convention on Arts Development (CONADEV) 2023, held at the Art Exhibition Pavilion, Abuja.

A statement by the Bureau’s Information Officer, Abdullahi Lamido Ahmad, said the award was presented by the General Manager and Chief Executive officer of the National Theater, Professor Enessi Ododo in recognition of Arc. Ahmad Abba Yusif’s outstanding contributions to art development in Kano State and Nigeria at large.

The statement added that the Executive Secretary Arc. Ahmad Abba Yusif expressed his gratitude and pleasure upon receiving the award, and promised to continue to assist the Society of Nigerian Artists in its mission to promote art development in Nigeria.

He added that the award would serve as an inspiration for him to continue working hard for the people of Kano State and for the advancement of Arts in Nigeria.

The Executive Secretary was accompanied by the Director of Arts and culture Sa’adatu Sunusi Bayero, Director Admin and General Service Umar Hamisu among other staff.
