Independence: Gov. Idris urges Nigerians to have renewed faith for a greater nation.

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has urged people of Kebbi State and the entire Nigerians to have a renewed faith for a greater nation with economic prosperity .

“Nigeria belongs to all of us irrespective of any political, religious, cultural or ethnic difference.

“We have no any other country but Nigeria and we must strive to ensure her even socio-economic development, ” Dr Idris said.

The Kauran Gwandu said this in a message to the people of the state and other Nigerians to mark the nation’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.

Dr Idris said that Nigerians have a lot to cherish and appreciate as Nigeria has been on a trajectory of growth from 1960 to date.

The governor also said that Nigeria and all the Federating units had recorded myriad of achievements from 1960 to date and more are coming.

According to Dr Idris, Nigerians must keep the flag flying and sustain the sound thinking, vision and mission of Nigeria’s forefathers.

The former NUT President and veteran labour leader reiterated the commitment of the APC-led Federal Government and his administration to build on the legacies of the founding fathers of our country.

“I can happily recall that Nigeria has been steadily and successfully trudging on the democratic train from 1999 to date.

“I am assuring Nigerians that there will be light at the end of the tunnel as all hands are on deck to deliver more dividends of democracy to them.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all the APC Governors will continue to implement more people-oriented programmes and policies.

“All the leaders, though, need sustained fervent prayers for guidance and protection for them to do more to better the lives of the citizens,”Kauran Gwandu, added.

The Governor reiterated his commitment to develop every sector of the state as well as fulfil his campaign promises to the people of the State.
