
Over two thousand people from durum village of Bauchi local government area where given a free medical services conducted by West African collage of physicians- Nigeria chapter.
The exercise which involves Tuberculosis sample examination, blood test on hepatitis A and B, HIV as well as Malaria was hold in collaboration with The Bauchi state government and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa university teaching hospital Bauchi.
Speaking during the exercise National Chairman of the collage in Nigeria Dr. Aboyi Jeremiah Madaki said collage is an umbrella for the training of consultant medical doctors across the west African countries.
Dr. Madaki who is also the vice president of the collage in the region explained that all the stakeholders in the healthcare sector from west African countries will be in Bauchi for the association’s AGM and for that, and is a tradition a medical caravan is organized for a host state.
Also speaking the Permanent secretary Bauchi state ministry of health Who was represented by the Director Admin and Human resource Alh. Yakubu Ibrahim Kyarana affirmed the state government commitment toward synergizing with the collage training and retraining of it personnel so as to bridge the man power gap in the healthcare sector of the state.
In his remark remark The village head of Durum Malam Nasiru Musa Ahmadu commended WACP and the stakeholders for choosing Durum village and promised prayed for the successful conduct of the scheduled activities of the AGM in Bauchi.
