Gov Aliyu swears in SSG, CoS, urges them to run open door policy

Sokoto State Governor, Dr Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has sworn -in the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Muhammed Bello Sifawa and Chief of Staff, Government House Sokoto, Aminu Haliru Dikko, mni.

Speaking shortly after the administration of oath of office to the new appointees, Gov. Aliyu charged them to run an open door policy in the discharge of their duties.

He said the present administration’s 9-point agenda is geared towards improving the living condition of the people of the state.

Alhaji Aliyu, therefore, charged the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their new ardous assignments.

” You all have a greater role to play in in actualizing our much needed growth and development for our dear state,”he added.

The Governor further reminded the appointees that their selection for the two positions was based purely on merit and charged them to put in their best to add value to the present administration.

He also called on civil servants in the state to give the new appointees the necessary support and cooperation in the discharge of their assignment.

The swearing in ceremony was witnessed by many dignitaries from across the state.
