Democracy as widely defined and accepted as the government of the people,by the people and for the people has in recent times offers avenues for the engagement of youth populace to productively develop transferable toward ensuring that our societies are positively develop.

Haven said the ball rolling, the future is likely to see the youth taking over the state and continue to build on the legacies of our heroes.
This is because, youth as the backbone of every society for meaningful development played a significant role in Nation’s independent.

They also through various organizations such as Aid Groups Vigilante Groups contributed to community projects such town hall meeting and maintenance of peace and security in various communities.
It is worthy of note that ,celebrated heroes like Nmandi Azikewe, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa,Obafemi Owolowo amongst many others appeared at the center stage of their generation nationalised.
But unfortunately, today the media reports many immoral stories carry out by youth in societies such as cultism, rape, political thuggery, intimate crime which affects the growth and development of Nigeria as a nation.

I was scandalised when I heard a report of the incident of atrocity that happened on Wednesday in Duguri Village of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State between the supporters of the two major political parties in the state,People Democratic Party(PDP) and All Progressive Party(APC). A catastrophe that lead tlost of live and injuries of many others (youth).
This is quiet a shame to Bauchi State as the ‘Home of Peace and Tourism’.

To my own dismay youth are still yet to understand that is not all the politicians that are after their progress, this is because have you ever seen any of their children or relatives involving in such political violence? The answer to this question is capital No!!

Their children are perambulating in a chatted, jet studying abroad and are living in a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere and if not strong and immediate positive measures are taking, they will be the ones to lead the country.
Therefore we have to rethink and do the right thing at the right time.
We must resist the temptation of being used to cause political upheaval and promote peace and unity for the progress of our dear nation Nigeria.
Politicians must guard against polluting the politics in the struggle for political supremacy however, political supporters should desist from actionable rival utterances capable of jeopardizing the little peace that we are enjoying in our dear Bauchi state.
