Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has commended the sportsmanship exhibited by the leadership and members of the Fulani group, Miyetti Allah Kautel Hore in the maintenance of peace, security and economy of Bauchi state and Nigeria, saying his administration will continue to support and welcome any preliminary initiative that will be beneficial to the citizenry.

Mohammed was speaking when he received in audience, the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Kautel Hore where he was endorsed by the group in recognition to his outstanding performances in infrastructure, security and poverty alleviation.

He called on the group to continue to support his administration’s commitment to fighting criminal activities in urban and rural areas, saying more developmental projects will be embarked under his watch in the second tenure if given the mandate once more.

Governor who attributed successes recorded by his administration in the security to the contribution, synergy and dedication between the Fulani and security agencies, said thousand of classroom blocks have been renovated in addition to numerous model schools built in rural areas in an effort to reviving the education and ensuring illiteracy is eradicated for a better society.

While commending the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Kautel Hore for the endorsement, Mohammed announced the donation of fifty motorcycles to ease the mobilization of the group.

Earlier speaking, the National President, Miyetti Allah Kautel Hore, Alhaji Bello Badejo said, Governor Bala’s track record, outstanding performance and achievements recorded are immeasurable, hence the need for citizens of Bauchi to give him another chance, saying one good term deserves another.

He used the medium to appreciate the governor for his laudable achievements and contribution on behalf of the delegation, saying they will reciprocate the gesture by voting for him and candidates under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming election.
