Honorable Musa Wakili Nakwada member representing Bogoro constituency at the Bauchi state house of Assembly made the assertion during presentation of award of excellence by correspondents of the state Assembly to member representing Bogoro in Bauchi northeast Nigeria.
Honorable Musa Wakili Nakwada said he is very delighted with award given to him considering the fact that out of thirty-one law makers in Bauchi state house of Assembly find him worthy to be conferred with the award.
” I’m very elated with kind gesture after my Constituents elect me to represent them in the assembly you people as journalists we are sitting together with you during plenary till closing hours so this award you are not giving to me alone but to people of Bogoro Bauchi state and Nigeria as a whole”.
Nakwada Thanked the correspondents for their foresight promised to continue working with them if he re-elected for the second term God the omnipotent gave power to any one whose please saying he will redouble his cordial relationship with the press.
The law maker pointed out that the event coincidence with the day set aside by the UN to celebrate world Radio day told the gathering that Radio remains one of the most important sources of information and has a profound impact on people’s live.
Earlier chairman Bauchi state house of Assembly correspondents Salisu Bala Halliru while presenting the award to Musa Nakwada says what inform them with the decision of honoring the member as media friendly lawmaker of the 9th assembly is rather but his commitments in promoting the ideal of the journalists.
Salisu Bala Halliru hinted that musa Nakwada he is the only representative whose always invite journalists to cover his activities and all the time ready to shed more light on matters related to the assembly been the spokesman of the house.
