Masjid Haramain Enlists Nurul Tilawat Model School Zaria as an Affiliate for its Distance Learning Program

Nurul Tilawat Model School, Zaria has been enlisted as one of the schools recognized and to be supervised by the famous Halaqat, schools in Haramain, Madinah in Saudi Arabia.

By this feat, Nurul tilawat has gone international by becoming one of the few schools to be recognized by the exalting school under the prophet mosque in Madina.

This was disclosed by the leading Imam of Masjid Nabaweeh (Prophet mosque in Madina) Sheikh Abdulmuhsin bin Muhammad bin Alqasimiy while receiving some students of Nurul tilawat Zaria who paid him a courtesy visit in Madina, Saudi Arabia.

The Imam of the Prophet’s mosque also directed for the enrollment of all the students into an online distance learning Programme run by the Haramain.

Sheikh Alqasimiy directed the school to establish an Islamic Library and personally donated volumes of books to enhance Islamic knowledge in the college.

The Madina Imam who is also a PhD holders in Islamic Jurisprudence tasked students to pursue Quranic knowledge with vigour while specializing in one of the field of Islamic Shari’ah.

Alqasimiy who hosted the students on a special lunch presented cash donations to all the students to encourage them on their studies.

Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the rare opportunity to interpace with one of the leading Islamic jurist and renown Imam in the world, the Director, Nurul tilawat school, Zaria, Sheikh Nuraddeen Umar Tahir described it as a historic gesture.

He noted that the school had earlier visited the Imam in 2020 but the recent encounter was more beneficial to the plight of the school.

Nuraddeen Tahir said the opportunity to meet with one of the leading Imams in Masjid Nabaweeh, Madina was such a gesture that was so difficult to attain by any school in Africa.

He appreciated the enlistment of the school as one of the colleges recognized and accepted to be under the supervision and monitoring of Haramain schools.

The Director also expressed gratitude for the enrollment of the entire students into the Madina school’s distance learning Programme.

“I think we are the first to achieve such privilege in nigeria. We are indeed very grateful for the reception and opportunities drive from the visit.” He said.
