Gov Bagudu approves deduction of 3% Basic Salaries of civil servants to Kebbi State Contributory Health Care Management Agency (KECHEMA)

The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has granted approval for the deduction of 3% Basic Salaries of Civil Servants of Kebbi State to Kebbi State Contributory Health care Management Agency (KECHEMA).

This is contained in a press statement signed by the Kebbi State Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi this Monday.

The approval granted by the Governor was sequel to the request made by the organized labour for the deduction of 3% Basic Salaries of all Civil Servants in the State to be remitted to Kebbi State Contributory Health Care management Agency (KECHEMA).

According to the statement, the enrollment of civil servants in the scheme as a formal sector would enable the Agency provide easy access to health care for civil servants at affordable rate.

Furthermore, the deduction shall be with effect from November, 2022 to KECHEMA to enable the Agency commence it services to civil servants in the State.
