Hajj 2022: Adamawa Muslim Pilgrims Commission Earns Three awards of Excellence from NAHCON

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, has bestowed three awards to Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission after its 2022 Post Hajj Stakeholders Meeting held at the National Mosque Auditorium, Abuja.

NAHCON as a regulatory body usually rate and present awards to deserving State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Agencies and Commissions for their outstanding performances in various fields during Hajj exercise.

The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission under the leadership of Malam Abubakar Salihu has won 3 Awards of excellence in various fields for outstanding performances during the Hajj2022 exercise.
The Adamawa Muslim Pilgrims Commission was recognised with an Award of excellence for outstanding performance in the Constitution of States’ Committees during the 2022 Hajj exercise.

Similarly, Adamawa State received an Award of excellence in recognition of its outstanding performance in meeting the deadline for 90% remittance of Hajj fares to the NAHCON during the 2022 Hajj exercise.
The third prestigious Award of excellence conferred on Adamawa State was in recognition of its outstanding performance in Arafat for compliance to Turaddudiyya routes and adherence to Jamrat regulations during the 2022 Hajj exercise.

In a remark, the Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu who was visibly elated, expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah for the feats attained.

He said the awards are evidence that the organization is working, noting that it has exceeded the minimum national standards.

The Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary also extended his appreciation to His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the support he gave to the Commission which culminated into the no mean successes recorded by the Commission.

Malam Abubakar Salihu praised staff of the Commission for working tirelessly to achieve their individual and organizational objectives for the Hajj 2022 exercise.

He gave the credit to the Team, maintaining that he alone takes full responsibility for all shortcomings.

The Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary who announced that Hajj 2023 has already started in Adamawa State, requested for support from all and sundry to surpass the standards set in 2022.
