BUDGET DEFENSE: Kaduna Lawmakers receives proposal from State ministry of Education, Agencies

kaduna state House of Assembly committee on education has directed some Agencies under the ministry of education to make corretion on their budget proposal for the year twenty twenty Three and submit to the committee for further legislative work.

Chairman of the Committee Alhaji Sulaiman Ibrahim Dabo gave the directive when they appeared before the committee for budget deffence in kaduna.

Alhaji Sulaiman Ibrahim Dabo said the committee is satisfied with the Ministry“s perfomance of the year twenty twenty two.

Responding the state commissioner of Education Hajiya Halima Lawal said the state government is commited to ensure quality education.

Hajiya Halima Lawal said the ministry proposed to spend over seventy nine billion Naira for both Capital,Personnel and over head cost for the year twenty twenty three.

she commended the house committee on education for the support and understanding givan to the Ministry and urged to continue in.that direction.

On the supply of substandard of food to school Chidren ,the commissioner called for concerted effort to address the such act.

Also speaking Rector Nuhu Bamalli poly tehnic Zaria Engineer Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi said the institution proposed the sum of one point one twenty nine billion Naira as Capital ,One hundred and fourty nine million as over head cost and one point sixty five six billion Naira as personnel cost.

Engineer Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi thanked kaduna state House of Assembly for the support to the polytechnic.
