Adamawa Police parades 39 suspected criminals

Adamawa State Police command has arrested 39 suspects for various criminal offences ranging from culpable homicide, kidnapping, theft and rape among others.

The suspects were paraded at the Police Headquarters in Yola.

The Commissioner of police C.P Sikiru Akande who was represented by the deputy Commissioner of police in charge of operations, Ajani Masuddu Omolabi said operatives of the command drawn from crack squad with the support of criminal investigation department have raided the criminals hideout and arrested many of them.

The Commissioner of police assured the public that the police would not relent in its effort to protect the lives and property of the citizens across the state.

On the build up to the 2023 general elections, C.P Akande said the command has put in place measures to curtail any threat to peace and security before, during and after the polls in the state.

The command has recovered a car, including dangerous weapons from the suspects.
