NSCDC Bauchi Parrade 4 Cattle Rustlers, 5 for Others Offences

At least nine persons were paraded by the The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Bauchi State Command over rustling of Cattles and others criminal offences.

Four of the suspects were said to be involved in rustling of two cows in Zungur Galambi, while three, stole Armoured cable from Bauchi Fertlizer company and small cables from a solar power panel in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of the state.

Addressing journalists at the Headquartres in Bauchi, Commandant of the corps, Ameh Edo James explained that they were arrested through tips having evaded capture twice.

“We arrested them through tips, like the cattle rustlers, they were in the game, they were in the market doing the business, we attempted arresting them first time it failed, the second time, they were still successful, but the third time luck ran out of them”, he said.

“We have been having tips of stolen cows in Bauchi here, they are numerous, but we are saying that they are going to pack away from this town, we are not going to condone any Cattle rustling any longer”, the Commandant warned.

According to him, the suspects, one 35 year old Abdullahi Sale, 30 year old Abdullahi Muhammad, 28 year old Salisu Hassan and their acconplice, 35 year old Sadiq Abubakar used to take the rustled Cattles to Soro market for sell.

The Commandant added that the suspects have confessed to the crime and they will be charged to court for prosecution After due interrogation and investigation.
