2027: PDP remains the solution to Nigeria, Bauchi commissioner reveals

Commissioner of Natural Resources in Bauchi State, Muhammed Maiwada Bello, has expressed confidence that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is poised to reclaim power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027. He made these remarks during a ceremony honoring retired and transferred staff of his ministry.

Bello emphasized that the PDP’s history of leadership positions it as the only party capable of mounting a serious challenge to the APC.

He also expressed confidence that the PDP will produce competent and experienced candidates who can defeat the ruling party.

Highlighting Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, as a key figure in the PDP, Bello noted that if given the opportunity, Bala Mohammed would be a formidable contender.

“Governor Muhammad’s track record speaks for itself, Nigeria needs a leader who can deliver results, not promises. Governor Bala Muhammad is that leader.”

The commissioner praised the governor’s leadership, citing the rapid development Bauchi State has experienced since Mohammed assumed office in 2019, including initiatives in building schools, hospitals, roads, attracting investment and promoting through strategic partnerships and other critical infrastructure projects.

The Commissioner added that “the visionary leadership has the ability to drive transformative change and progress, his integrity and transparency with unwavering commitment to accountability and good governance as well as capacity to tackle Nigeria complex challenges ”

He described Governor Bala Mohammed as a breath of fresh air and a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s future.
