2023 Budget: Gov. Buni to construct Hajj Transit Camp, Ministry of Housing, YOROTA Office, Others

The Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, is to construct Ministry of Housing, Arabic and Islamic Education Board (AISEB), Hajj Transit Camp, YOROTA permanent office in Damaturu and 3 Zonal offices in Potiskum Nguru, and Gashua to provide conducive woeking environment for the state civil servants in the agencies to operate.

This is contained in the 2023 budget size of N163,155,366.00 presented by His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni weeks ago.

Governor Buni said “in order to stimulate higher quality service delivery, we would provide funds for the construction of Ministry of Housing, Arabic and Islamic Education Board (AISEB), Hajj Transit Camp, YOROTA permanent office in Damaturu, and 3 Zonal offices in Potiskum, Nguru and Gashua and completion of Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning office complex.

“Similarly, government will execute the rehabilitation and construction of the second phase of IBB Secretariat, Court buildings, residential and office structures, for the judiciary, Yobe state House of Assembly, Civil Service Commission, Yobe Cultural Centre and other organizations in the 2023 fiscal year.
