2021 HAJJ: Katsina Pilgrims board holds a retreat for staff

The Katsina state pilgrims walfare board had organized a one day retreat for staff of the board.

Declaring the retreat open the Executive Director Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki said the objectives of the retreat is to review the problems of the previous Hajj exercise in the state and draw map for a hitch free operations in future.

Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki added that the event Signifies the commencement of some Major actions regarding the Conduct of the 2021 Hajj.

The Executive Director said the retreat is very important in so many ways adding that it serves as a means of the much needed capacity building for staff of the board.

He further said it is expected that after the retreat the participants will be well informed on the rudiments of Hajj Operation and the herculean task ahead which includes the deliberation on the commencement of the newly introduced Hajj saving scheme.

The Executive Director who congratulated the participants of the retreat, also urged them to dedicate themselves during and after the retreat.

 

He thanked and appreciate the Government of katsina State under the leadership of the Executive Governor of the State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari.

In his welcome address the chairman organising committee who is also the Director Admin and supply of the board Alhaji Sada Salisu Ruma Commended the effort of the Executive Director for initiating such programme for the staff and urged the participants of the retreat to conduct themselves peacefully during the event.

Also speaking, the Chairman presentation committee who also the Chairman House Committee on Religious affairs Hon.Mustapha Yusuf jibia appreciated the effort of the initiator of the programme and called on the staff of the board to dedicate themselves during the retreat exercise.
