RAMADAN: Bauchi Speaker disburses trucks of foodstuff to constituents

The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman has disbursed bags of foodstuffs as Ramadan palliative to his Ningi Central Constituency.

The Chairman of the disbursement committee who is also the Director of the Speaker’s campaign organization Alhaji Bala Gideru said that the items comprise 286 bags of rice, 350 bags of millet and 315 bags of sugar.

According to him, the gesture by the Speaker is meant to ease the pressing demands of Ramadan on the constituents and provide succour to less privileged in the Constituency.

Alhaji Bala explained that the disbursement which already commences will cover party leadership, supporters, mosques, religious leaders, less privileged among other strata of people.

While wishing all Muslims a happy and blessed Ramadan Fasting, he called on the constituents to make good use of the food items and pray fervently for the Speaker, the Constituency, the State and the Country at large.
