NUJ Lauds Gov Bala Mohammed for Donating Busses to Journalists

The Bauchi State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ has commended Governor Bala Mohammed for Donating a brand new buses to members of Correspondents Chapel and Government House press crew in the State.

Commending the Governor after witnessing the official presentation of the buses over the weekend, Chairman of the Union Comrade Umar Sa’idu said the move is a step to encourage productivity among the working journalists.

Umar Sa’idu pointed out that as a journalists, Governor Bala Mohammed has demonstrated his concern of ensuring the welfare of members of the pen profession.

He charged them to reciprocate the gesture by publicizing the government’s policies and programmes geared towards the betterment of the citizens.

Presenting the buses, Governor Bala Mohammed said the move was in recognition of the journalists’ contributions through reminding the government of it’s responsibilities, saying journalists are the most dehumanize people in the society, calling on Newspaper priepriatators in Nigeria to improve the welfare of it’s journalists.

The Governor also assured to fulfill his earlier pledge of the total renovation of the State NUJ Secretariat before the end of the first term of his administration.
