The station, named Nasara Radio, has been granted approval by the National Broadcasting Corporation, NBC, to start test transmission this week at the frequency modulation band of 98.5 FM.

A statement by the secretary of the technical implementation committee, Sanusi Dawakin-Tofa said: “Nasara Radio is designed to promote, protect and protect a responsible society through innovative programmes and news content with high value of objectivity, fairness and timeliness.

“It is a sigh of relief to have a strong team of professionals in managing the station. Dr. Maude is extremely resourceful for a 21st century media platform like Nasara Radio 98.5 FM, so I want to congratulate him for this appointment on behalf of the proprietor and the Technical Implementation Committee” the statement reads.
