Kaduna Reps Member Sadiq Ango trains, donates cash as starter pack to Youth, Women

Thousands of youths and women from Sabon gari federal constituency have received cash donations to support them set up business ventures for self dependency and reliance.

The Member representing Sabon gari federal constituency, Sadiq Ango Abdullahi made the donation shortly at a graduation ceremony of skills acquisition programme organized to empower youths and women in Sabon gari constituency.

He said the gesture was to support people from his constituency with necessary impetus to commence business after acquiring knowledge and skills to improve their economic status.

The legislator who donated thirty thousand naira each to all the participants of the training stressed the need to provide support to the trainees so that they don’t waste the knowledge acquired.

Sadiq Ango noted assured that “as long as I remain your representative in the national assembly, I will continue to attract projects and programmes that will better the lives of all.

“I will equally commit myself to initiatives that will put a smile to your livelihood and enhance your social and economic status.” He said.

The legislator reminded that in the last few months of representation, lots of programmes have been rolled out including medical outreach for the sick, provision of palliatives to assist the vulnerable and less privileged as well enterpreneaurship training for women and the youths.

Abdullahi who pledged to do more in both legislative duty and constituency project, urged for support and cooperation to enable him succeed.

Earlier, in his remarks, Iliyasu Adamu, Media aide to the legislator explained that thousands of youths and women were trained in various skills.

He said while women were trained on fishery, tailoring, make up among others, youths were also provided with skills on day to day businesses that will assist them in maintaining their homes and family.

Adamu stated that every participants of the training have received the sum of thirty thousand naira as starter pack to support the establishment of their businesses.

He said the gesture was to encourage the trainees not abandon the acquired skills due to lack of funds.

The media aide applauded the legislator for always identifying with his constituents and urged him not relent.
