The current situation in northern Nigeria called for more security beef, considering the fact that all our lives are like insects; that may be killed at anywhere and any moment without having any protection it’s only few among us are enjoying the insurgent for there selfish interest.

If the government truly want to eradicate the act of killings and kidnappings in northern Nigeria, there is a need to give more concern to the security sector and invest into it’s security in terms of quality weapons towards fighting the bandits.

This is similar to what has been happening in Nigeria, huge amount of money are set annually to tackle internal and external security threats without any positive results. You hardly read news papers without coming across news about kidnapings and heartless massacres of innocent people.

In some parts of the northern Nigeria, the act of killings and kidnappings are more rampant, because bandits are now seeing themselves as authorities, recently they imposed levies in some communities places like sokoto, katsina, kaduna etc for people to be free from their attack and government was silent about that and no measures taken on remote communities.

Many citizens in the northern Nigeria depends on agriculture as their main source of income for survival, as for now going to farm is a very risky tasks farmers were killed, and also women workers were raped, that may result to malnutrition due to low harvesting in future.

The act of killings and kidnappings in northern Nigeria spread like wildfire is callous and disturbing.one of the biggest babaric act that happened recently by bandits was when travellers where burnt into ashes alive in sokoto state and the top government officials who are supposed to condole with victims of the incident and give order to prevent future occurrence moved to Lagos State in the same day for a book launch.

The leaders and their loved ones are living in comfort with enough securities around them, while the general publics are left to the mercy of bandits, sadly, it might have looked at the various roafs in some parts of the northern Nigeria are like death paths that is why many have embraced business in their cities than to travel to other places no matter how little the profit might be.

Education and academic activities especially schools in northern Nigeria have been interrupted for fear of uncertainty, kidnappers can attack at any moment and get away with both teachers and students. This act of bandits lead to the closure of several schools, and also as a result of this parents in the rural communities that doesn’t want their children into schools now have an excuse, most atimes spread of lawlessness in Nigeria was due to negligence and passiveness by authorities concerned.

Most at times bombardment to bandits camps in mineral rich Zamfara state, series of such attack was done without installing infantry soldiers as escape route; they (bandits) fled to other states and now igniting chaos. economic hardship has made many risk their own lives by supplying commodities like food, fuel to kidnappers, acting as imformant to the bandits.

Looking at how the issue of security was in northern Nigeria it takes different dimensions in a way that, security issue was totally politicized,by the fact that there are egoistic security agent, politician and influencias that are benefiting huge amount set for security, they will never let the country to embrace peace.

The situation of some parents in northern Nigeria was so unfortunate by the way the maltreat their siblings, northerners are good in giving birth to rampant children but carefree when it comes to provide the necessary essentials, such grown-up children made them easily influence into kidnappings Nigeria is blessed with vibrant and good leaders, but people surrounding them are mostly selfish, thereby pushing advises that may pleased their bad emotional interest.

Securities experts are supposed to be at least given chance to work out modalities that could bring an end to the lingering insecurities bedeviling Nigeria.
And also regarding to the hardship and suffering we are now, government should at least looked at the people with the eye of Mercy and reduced the price of commodities ,so that hunger would not be putting people into banditry, programmes for poverty eradication should be expanded in order to cover more citizens for not going into criminal act.

Reducing the tarriff of social armenities such as electricity bill, water bills, etc, that would make citizens more love to their country and shun all sorts of criminalities.let come together to make North and Nigeria peaceful!!!
