Governor Bala welcomes Nigeria’s Former President GEJ on condolence visit

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has received Nigeria’s former President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan today on a condolence visit over the demise of his elder brother, Alhaji Bappa Duguri.

The former President accompanied by Reverend John Kennedy Opara and Honorable Bawa Ishaku sympathized with the family of the deceased, describing the loss a huge one.

GEJ while extending condolences to the family and citizens of Bauchi State prayed for the late Yarima, asking Allah to grant him eternal rest.

The delegation paid similar visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu at his palace where special prayers were offered.

Responding, Governor Bala thanked the former President for the condolence and wished him safe return.
